Digital Magazine

I wanted to share my digital magazine that I worked so hard on! It is about the history of Oklahoma State University football and the traditions that go along with it.  I found out a lot of great information that I never would have known if I didn't have to do the research for it.  I hope you take the time to read it! Here is the link: Cowboy's digital magazine

Enjoy!

Tips for new bloggers

As this semester comes to a close, I have realized, by making this blog, that it is not that hard to keep a journal. Even though I wrote about football, there were so many other things that I could have easily wrote about.  A couple tips for new bloggers would be to keep an open mind when sharing information. Don't be too scared to say what you want to say. Show your personality and don't fear that people will make fun of what you say. If you want to say something and don't because you are scared of being judged, then will end up being fake in your blog and it will show. A fake blogger doesn't get people near as interested in their material because it is not from the heart.

Life is about to take a new turn for me as I graduate in a couple of weeks and I hope I will have many experiences to share on my blog as I take a new turn in life.

Thank you Dr. Nichol's for everything you have taught me this semster and to everyone else, happy blogging!

Gettin Nervous...

So Oklahoma State, as of today, is now ranked no. 9 in the BCS poll. We are back to where we were at at the beginning of last season when we kicked Georgia's ass at our opening game. I'm so proud of my Cowboys for earning the No. 9 spot back, even though it has taken quite some time.

Next Saturday is Bedlam, and I am VERY nervous.  ESPN Gameday is coming to Stillwater so that is a huge opportunity for us to shine on national television.  College Game Day is a good reference for updates on the biggest rivalries in the nation and key players.  It is someone you should think about following on Twitter!! Its twitter name is @GameDayFootball and its website is CollegeGameDay.

Good luck to everyone next weekend and let the battle begin! GO POKES!!

P.S...Did anybody see the Nebraska vs. Texas A&M game??? YIKES.

GET EXCITED!! and watch my vlog!

I am soooooo proud of my Cowboys for kicking some longhorn a**!! It felt great and refreshing. We finally got over the huge mountain we have been climbing for years.

Too bad OU won their game over the weekend. They played Texas Tech and they played well.

I decided to create my own little Vlog to show you my excitement for the Cowboys..view it here:

Number 10 in the BCS? YEP!

So Oklahoma State played some dang good ball on Saturday, and Baylor just didn't show up to the first half of the game. Then OU lost to Texas A&M, which I must say helped Oklahoma State in the polls. Therefore we are now number 10 in the BCS!!

Alabama lost to LSU. That is there second loss this season. What is happening Alabama?!

I found a VLOG on youtube today that talks about college football. It's just a couple guys hanging out talking sports. It is pretty interesting. you should give it a look. Football VLOG

Everybody have a good week!

My Podcast

I am going to switch gears a bit for this post and talk about my podcast, (even though I am super excited that OSU won against K-State! GO POKES!!)

I helped create a podcast over cyber-bullying, which is becoming a bigger deal every week, especially here lately.  Kids have committed suicide because they are being harassed online.  My podcast talks about prevention, statistics and what exactly cyber-bullying is. Please take a moment to listen to my podcast. If you are parent, please monitor your kids while they are online.  It could greatly slow down the cyber-bullying world.

Till Now, I Had Forgotten What It Feels Like To Lose

It felt amazing being undefeated (OSU), but eventually someone's got to lose I guess. And I guess it was just our time.  Nebraska played too well in the second half and got too far ahead for OSU to win.  It was a sad day in Cowboy Country, but that is okay.  OSU will rise again and recover from this I am sure!

OU got beat too!!! THAT makes me feel a lot better!!!  I knew I would have a hard time sleeping if OU won, but they didn't and that makes me a VERY happy girl. :)

Iowa State had a big come back on Saturday when they beat Texas!! That was unbelievable! Last week OU killed them. Iowa State couldn't even get a field goal last week and, then this week they went in there and just took over Texas.  I love it. I love watching the teams that I hate fall on their faces.

I hope everyone has a good week.
