It's gettin good...

First of all...umm, WOW. Did you see that close game with OU and Air Force?? I was REALLLLLY cheering for the Air Force hard. It could have been the biggest upset of the week, but they failed me. It's okay. They played hard. I still got to give them an A for effort.

Well, according to the USA Today poll http://espn.go.com/college-football/rankings, OKLAHOMA STATE is No. 25!!! woohoo...finally pushed ourselves up in the top 25. We just have to keep it going with a big win against Texas A&M next Thursday night! I called it that we would make it to the top 25 and nobody believed me. I said if we play hard against Tulsa and show them who their daddy is, we would most likely be no. 25; and thank you Jesus we did. Now we just have to keep going and going.

Nebraska beat Washington by 35 points. Good job.

TEXAS played Texas Tech last week and man...they had their work cut out for them, for awhile at least. I was pulling for Tech of course...but they failed me as well.

Looks like the only team who didn't fail me last week was my OSU Cowboys. I hope they come through for me again next week. Until then, I will have to focus on Alabama...after all, I'm headed to their game this weekend against Arkansas...ROLL TIDE!

Really OSU??

First off, I am not satisfied what so ever with the way we performed on Saturday against Troy.  I realize Troy has some great athletes, but we should have beat them by more than three lousy points!!  Apparently some of the guys had butter fingers.  I was clinching my teeth when we had one minute to go and everything was in our favor, when we fumbled the ball.  At that point I thought we were done.  But what do ya know? Troy realized how pissed I would have been if they could have ran the ball.  Instead they decided to give us the ball back with a fumble! Ha. That whole game was just a sh!t show.

Iowa kicked booty. End of story.

OU...umm WOW. Is that even the same team that played against Utah State?? I think a whole new team showed up on Saturday!! (sucks though, I really wanted them to lose.)

Texas beat Wyoming. Did anyone think they wouldn't? Me either.

Kansas beat Georgia Tech by three points. I'm in shock that they won.

Well, Georgia AND Georgia Tech dropped out of the USA Today top 25 and OU is number 9.  OSU has 55 points.  We just need a little extra push and maybe we can get to at least number 25?? lol...we'll see. Maybe we can make it happen this weekend with Tulsa.

Football Week 1!!

NCAA football week one has already got me fired up.

Let me introduce. My name is Amanda Brown and I'm a senior at Oklahoma State University. I love football.  Therefore, my blog will probably be, for the most part, about football. No, i'm not a tom-boy. lol.

Let me start off by saying that OSU kicked major booty last Saturday against Washington State. I'm proud of my team.  I hope we play like that the rest of the season.  Playing Washington State was like playing a highschool team; so I feel like that was a warm up. We need to keep the fire in us.

Second of all, OU has got to be the most OVER RATED school in the country.  They struggled to beat Utah State and they only dropped one spot to No. 8 on the USA Today poll. C'mon, really???  They DO NOT deserve that much credit.  Actually, they should not have been in the top 10 starting off in the first place.

Moving on.

I'm proud of USC with their win against Hawaii.  Oh, I'm also proud of the Georgia Bulldogs for scoring 55 points, even though they were also playing a weisle team, Louisiana Lafayette.  OSU opened against the Bulldogs last season and they struggled. Needless to say they did not beat us, but this year is looking up for them.  Let's see, Iowa played well against Eastern Illinois scoring 37 points on them.  Eastern Illinois came out of that battlefield with one touchdown.

I can't wait for this weekend when OSU plays the big ole bully Troy...haha (this should be an easy win too).
